heart of wisconsin kite festival

The Rotary Club of Greater Portage County holds an annual Kite Festival from 11:00 a.m. until 4 p.m. at the Portage County Business Park (across from Boldt Construction). The kite festival is a family-oriented event with several activities going on throughout the day.
Kiters from around Wisconsin fly an interesting variety of kites. In addition, there is a workshop for children to make their own kites. The public is invited to just come and observe or bring their own kite to fly. A variety of kites are available for sale by Unique Flying Objects (UFO) of Two Rivers, WI.
